Road infrastructure development 

The road infrastructure has a large importance for the economic growth, the mobility of labour force as well as the competitiveness in the framework of the international distribution of transport work. It is one of the key factors that significantly influence the economic development and the territorial organisation of the state. The current condition of the road infrastructure is characteristic by a quite dense road network, but with a rather low share of roads belonging to higher classes (motorways and expressways), where the existing road capacity is often exceeded, particularly on the main international roads.
